Und da der Ölpreis zur Zeit mächtig steigt, könnte es sehr schnell wieder bergauf gehen.

That coup did not interfere with the Company’s ability to reward a select few individuals.  The Company has operated for over 28 years – and has yet to report a dollar of revenues.  Despite that lengthy record of non-achievement, ParaFin has managed to spend plenty of money, almost $43 million since 1978.  In fact, between October 1, 2006 and December 31, 2006 – with no funds in its coffers - ParaFin paid over 1.2 million in consulting and management fees.



Equally mind-boggling is the fact that public investors continue to purchase ParaFin stock - and that those shares recently traded at more than 12 cents.



Since the Company has no funds, it rewards its “consultants” and “management” with stock – registered shares that can be sold immediately.  On February 23, 2007, the same day it filed its Form 10-Q for the December 2006 quarter, ParaFin filed a Form S-8 Registration Statement, registering approximately 135 million shares to be distributed to directors, consultants and employees under a pair of stock incentive plans.  Since there appear to be plenty of individuals willing to buy ParaFin stock, the individuals who receive those shares are not likely to have much difficulty converting their certificates into cash - putting them in a far better position than the Company for which they consult or work.



The Company did not identify the directors, employees and consultants who would be receiving the shares.



Considering ParaFin’s dismal track record it is easy to understand why they would want to remain anonymous.

Schadensbegrenzung heißt hier das Stichwort, vielleicht rappelt sich der Kurs noch ein wenig nach oben und wir bekommen noch ein paar Euros mehr als jetzt raus ;-))

Mir geht es nicht anders. Allerdings konnte ich noch bei 0.18 € diese Aktie abstossen mit kaum verlust. Allerdings stecke ich in andere werte wie GSNH und CKEI. Wobei CKEI noch seine vierteljährliche Berichte erstellt. Diese kann mann auch unter stockpatrol lesen. Allerdings glaube ich nicht mehr an GSNH und parafin, weil es nicht eine Bilanzveröffentlichung gibt. Ich ärgere mich, über meine dusseligkeit und hoffe auch nur AUF  Schadensbegrenzung.

Das Vorhaben von Parafin liest sich ja ganz nett, vielleicht kann ich ja doch noch auf ein paar Cent mehr hoffen.
Bei dem jetzigen Kurs bekomme ich fast nichts mehr zurück, da kann ich auch noch ein wenig warten.
Wer weiss, manchmal sind die schlechtesten Aktien plötzlich super gefragt...träum ;-)
Oder ein riesigen Ölund Gasvorkommen tut sich auf...wieder träum ;-)

Denke ich auch. Falls da wirklich was los sein sollte auf den Feldern und Erträge erzielt werden, werden wir vielleicht noch ein wenig glücklich sein das wir nicht verkauft haben.

So wie ich das verstanden habe, ist ein absoluter Fachmann für die Hilfe der Bohrungen mit einbezogen worden.

Man sollte die Hoffnung nie aufgeben.

Hatte die Kohle leider eh schon abgeschrieben und mich einigermassen seelisch davon wieder erholt...also kann ich nur hoffen das die Köpfe da was ausbuddeln was unseren Kurs in die Höhe treibt.
Mehr als hoffen kann ich nicht denn bei lächerlichen 2 Cent die übrig geblieben sind kann ich ja noch nicht mal volltanken...lach ;-))

Traurig...aber wer weiss, sollte das Dingens sprudeln oder wie auch immer, machen wir am Ende noch einen fetten Gewinn ;-))

Denke das es bei euch auch nicht anders ist, verkaufen tut wohl bei den 2 Cent keiner.

Meta Petroleum CEO Says ParaFin Announcement False

BOGOTA, Colombia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Meta Petroleum, Limited ("Meta") today renounced a press release issued by ParaFin Corporation on May 1, 2007 as false and without basis. In a May 1st press release, ParaFin stated that it had signed a farmout agreement with "Meta Petroleum Ltd." to acquire a 50% working interest in a hydrocarbon concession and operating oil field in the Republic of Colombia, South America.

ADVERTISEMENT
Jan Veldwijk, Meta's Chief Executive Officer, stated, "We were shocked when we were informed of the press release issued by ParaFin Corporation. Neither the management nor shareholders of Meta have ever met anyone from ParaFin Corporation, much less entered into an agreement to sell a portion of our interests. ParaFin's press release is totally without merit and we can only speculate as to the motivation behind the announcement."

Meta Petroleum is one of the fastest growing companies in Colombia and was recently recognized as one of Colombia's top 1,000 companies by two leading Colombian business magazines. Since commencement of operations in 2002, Meta has rapidly increased production from its heavy oil field to more than 18,000 barrels of oil per day. Die PFNC-Spekulation ging in die Hose, weil der der Deal durch den Ölpreisverfall platzte. Spätestens als der Ölpreis unter 70 $/Barrel gefallen ist hättest du verkaufen müssen.
