NEW YORK, Oct 17 (Reuters) - Telecommunications equipment maker Lucent Technologies Inc (LU,Trade) said Monday that it won a four-year deal to provide network services for Cingular Wireless.

Lucent's Internet protocol-based technology will allow Cingular customers to get voice, video and data services on their mobile phones, laptop computers and personal digital assistants.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The deal comes after Lucent last week won three-year agreements worth $125 million with Leap Wireless International Inc ((LEAP.OQ)) and Alaska Native Broadband 1 License LLC. Lucent will provide those companies with wireless network equipment in markets such as Las Cruces, New Mexico, and El Paso, Texas.

Lucent shares rose 7 cents, or 2.3 percent, to $3.13 in pre-market INET trading.

The announcement highlights Lucent's competence in next-generation networks (NGN) and strong local capabilities, and marks a significant milestone in the collaborative relationship between the company and China Unicom, one of the largest operators in China.

ich bin long positioniert und werde auch bei gelegenheit allenfalls nachkaufen. scheint mir auch gerade längerfristig ein kursverdoppler (erste bankhäuser nennen ja auch 7$ bereits als kursziel).

habe meine chartgrafik aus posting 1 für mich mal aktuell angeschaut.

lucent braucht jetzt noch mehr impulse. nächster charttechnischer widerstand bei 3.14$ (aktueller Kurs: 3.06$). Sollte die Aktie ausbrechen sehe ich Potential bis 3.70$.
