nicht alles ist, denn es hilft momentan Local Corp nichts Umsatz zuzukaufen, wenn die Kosten höher sind als der zusätzliche erreichte Umsatz - auch wenn das in Startphasen einmal sinnvoll sein kann. Für Local Corp ist es sinnvoller, ersteinmal die große Zahl der User besser "auszubeuten".

The flipside is as we adapt to this, we"ll have double positive on the other side. As we adapt to this and optimize, which we"ve already started to do, tested a couple of dozen pages already, we"ve seen a pretty significant increase in monetization off of that testing and we expect to continue to grow that. That allows us to turn those campaigns back on, but our guidance reflects kind of where we"re right now."

werden jetzt deutlich: Im dritten Quartal sind einige Instiutítonals, vor allem Hedge-Funds wie der bisher größte Eigner Penn ...  ausgestiegen. Über die Gründe kann man rätseln, denn die Daten waren da sehr ordentlich. Zwei mögliche Gründe: Erstens war der für das 3. Quartal angekündigte Verkauf von Rovion noch nicht über die Bühne und man vermutete statt der jetzt erlösten fast 4 Millionen einen Erlös von 0, sowie zweitens war die mehrmals jeweils um einen Monate erfolgende Verlängerung des Abkommens mit Yahoo fast abgelaufen, das dann erst im vierten Quartal um sage und schreibe fünf Jahre verlängert wurde. Dazu kamen die Veränderungen im Businessbereich, wo Telefongesellschaften das Inkasso bei Subscribers für Businessleistungen einstellten bzw. das ankündigten - und ob Launch for Local diese ersetzen konnte war unsicher. Letzter Punkt ist noch nicht ausgeräumt, aber immerhin hatte man Ende des Quartal 1.000 Launch for Local-Verträge unter Dach und Fach, die für Einnahmen von mindestens 3 Millionen im Jahr stehen.
