Universal Detection Technology Receives Contract From Foot Locker, Inc. for Bioterrorism Defense Training at Foot Locker Warehouse Facility
Training Will Be for Detection of Anthrax, Ricin Toxin, Botulinum Toxin, Plague, and SEBs at Foot Locker's Main Distribution Warehouse Using Test Kits Purchased From Universal Detection Technology
Universal Detection Technology (www.udetection.com) (OTCBB: UDTT), a developer of early-warning monitoring technologies to protect people from bioterrorism and other infectious health threats and provider of counter-terrorism consulting and training services, announced today that is has received a purchase order for bioterrorism defense training from Foot Locker, Inc. to be conducted at a Foot Locker's warehouse.
The contract from Foot Locker is a major milestone for the company and it's a result of UDTT's new efforts to market its security solutions to civilian and corporate users. The Bioterrorism Defense Training will take place at Foot Locker's Main Distribution Warehouse and will focus on five bioterrorism agents: anthrax, ricin, botulinum toxin, plague, and SEBs. The Training will be conducted using test kits sold by Universal Detection Technology to Footlocker which are capable of detecting all five agents.
UDTT's counter terrorism and security solutions, including the Company's flagship real time anthrax detector (BSM-2000), have applications for government agencies, defense contractors, security companies, postal facilities, warehouses, and the like.
