Ariba wieder voll im Aufwärtstrend

In letzter Zeit wimmelt es nur noch so von Upgrads.
Heute als "Top Pick" von Outperform aufgestuft.

...das lässt auf einen Gewinn in Q4/2004 schließen.
Dann dürfte einem weiteren mittelfristigen Aufwärtstrend
nichts mehr im Wege stehen.
Klar die Aktie ist in den letzten Wochen bereits gut gelauften,
man muss allerdings auch bedenken wo sie herkommt (!).
Außerdem haben es gute Aktien eben so an sich, dass sie
(auch längerfristig) steigen. Da juckt es wenig, wenn sie
bereits gut gelaufen sind.

Bauwi, bist du etwa auch in dieser Aktie drin? Ich bin noch 95 % im Minus. Na ja, seit heute vielleicht nur noch 94 %. Die einzige amerikanische Aktie, die ich noch halte.

Da wird sie niemals mehr hinkommen. Das ist lediglich meine Meinung. Kein Grund zur Aufregung.

Nur für diejenigen, die die Einzelheiten nicht kennen:

Im Frühjahr 2004 fand ein R-Splitt statt. (6 : 1 ; also für 6 alte Aktien bekam man eine neue).

Im August 2000 hat die Ariba-Aktie nach alter Rechnung mal 195,-- EUR gekostet.
Also 195,-- EUR x 6 = 1.170 EUR. Das ist der Kurs, der mit dem heutigen von gerade mal 10,-- EUR zu vergleichen ist. Was im Jahre 2000 stattgefunden hat, war eine maßlose Übertreibung nach oben, aber wem erzähle ich das. Mit Ariba habe ich auch gute Tage erlebt. Ich kaufte Anfang August 2000 die Aktie für 57,-- EUR (! immer nach alter Rechnung) und verkaufte sie 12 oder 13 Tage später für 125,-- EUR, nach dem sie in der Zwischenzeit schon weit über 130,-- EUR stand (ich besitze noch alle Belege der Bank).

Am 19.01.2004 musste man nach NEUER RECHNUNG noch 18,54 EUR dafür bezahlen. Das war das Jahreshoch 2004 (3,09 EUR x 6 = 18,54 EUR). Die Aktie muss also von heute aus gesehen noch über 80 % steigen, um überhaupt den Kurs vom 19. Januar 2004 zu erreichen. So sieht es aus.

Ich habe für jede Ariba-Aktie, die ich heute noch besitze, 117,60 EUR bezahlt. Also 19,60 EUR x 6 = 117,60 EUR. Den genauen Verlust will ich gar nicht wissen.
Was kann ein junger Anleger daraus lernen? Wenn man merkt, dass mit der Aktie etwas nicht stimmt, wenn sie also massiv verliert, sofort und bedingungslos VERKAUFEN. Das ist ein Fehler von vielen Anlegern im Jahre 2000 und evtl. noch später gewesen.
Meine Konsequenz: Wenn eine Aktie nicht steigt, dann grundsätzlich raus damit aus dem Depot!! Sicher gibt es Situationen, in denen diese Regel falsch ist. Bei einem guten DAX-Wert, zum Beispiel, kann man eine Schwächephase auch mal aussitzen. Das ist die Ausnahme. Deshalb das Wort "grundsätzlich".

heute bereits wieder +12% bzw. ist eben die 15 Dollar Marke geknackt worden. Was so ein Break-Even nur ausmacht.
Man denke an früher als Ariba bei Kursen um die 800-900 Euro war (vergleichen mit dem heutigen Kurs, 6:1 Reverse-Split herausgerechnet). Klar ist dass Ariba das nicht wieder ereichen wird, zumindest in diesem Jahrzehnt wohl nicht mehr. Aber einige Prozent sind da garantiert noch drin, denn damals hatte das Unternehmen noch Verluste erwirtschaftet. Und jetzt wurde der Break-Even erreicht.

zu lesen. Ich wollte ja auch nachkaufen. Wenigstens um die ungerade Anzahl nicht mehr im Depot zu haben bzw. sie mir besser merken zu können. Aber aus den selben Gründen wie du sie anführst, habe ich es gelassen. Im Stillen dachte ich wohl, sie noch billiger zu bekommen. Im vorliegenden Fall konnte ich mir alles vorstellen. Aber ich habe genug von denen (und einige graue Haare verdanke ich ihnen auch).

in der letzten Zeit gar nicht mehr um Ariba gekümmert (s. # 7 Posting von Baanbruch). Um so erfreulicher die jetzige Entwicklung, die sicherlich wohl auch auf die erfolgreichen Akquisitionen von Alliente, FreeMarkets und Softface (alle in diesem Jahr) zurückzuführen sind.
Ariba (ARBA) ist somit Weltmarktführer für ESM-Lösungen (u.a. Kosteneinsparungen für Unternehmen, die ja immer wichtiger werden).

Aber wie oben schon ausgeführt: Im Januar d. J. stand sie schon mal nach neuer Rechnung bei 18,54 EUR. Es wird interessant zu beobachten sein, wie sie sich in diesem Bereich verhalten wird. Wenn sie dorthin kommen, könnten wir schon zufrieden sein. Es wären dann noch einmal rund 60%. Aber warten wir es.


Der in # 5 erwähnte Kurs (über 1.000,-- EUR) war natürlich der absolute Höchstkurs vom August oder Anfang September 2000. Um nur mal den Lesern, die nicht mit den Einzelheiten der Aktie vertraut sind , vor Augen zu führen, um was es hier überhaupt geht.

Seit deinem Posting sind offensichtlich Gewinnmitnahmen erfolgt. Nach einem derartigen Anstieg eine völlig normale Sache.

Wie auch immer, das Resultat bleibt für mich dasselbe !

schönen, erholsamen Urlaub (Lanzarote?). Bei der nächsten passenden Gelegenheit bin ich aus dieser D.....-Aktie raus. Endgültig.

Konnte man sich doch an fünf Fingern ausrechnen, dass eine Aktie, die seit August fast 120% gemacht hat, nicht ewig weiter steigen wird. Nur ich Id... habe es wieder verschlafen. Eigentlich wollte ich doch die 18,60 EUR vom Januar 2004 wieder sehen.

minus 2,91 auf 13,88 die Rede war. 13.88 war jedoch
der Schlusskurs nach regulärem Handel.
