RALEIGH, N.C., Sept. 10, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Parks Hospitality Group today announced it has been recognized with a 2018 Hilton Legacy Award for New Build of the Year for the Homewood Suites by Hilton brand. The highly anticipated awards program celebrates contributions to an outstanding year of growth. Timed to coincide with the Americas Owner Conference, Hilton recognized nearly 60 high performing owners and developers.
Parks Hospitality Group received this national recognition for the Homewood Suites by Hilton in Greenville, South Carolina's award-winning downtown. It is the first and only hotel in downtown Greenville's West End, an area that is rapidly growing into a hub for mixed-use development, creating a true "live, work, play" environment. Spearheaded by the Homewood Suites and the adjacent Fluor Field, a replica of Fenway Park and home stadium for the Greenville Drive, the West End is in position to continue expanding, with the hotel serving as a key cornerstone for the community.
