NEW YORK, July 7, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Harwood Feffer LLP (www.hfesq.com) is investigating potential claims against the board of directors of Sparton Corporation ("Sparton" or the "Company") (NYSE: SPA) concerning the proposed acquisition of the Company by Ultra Electronics Holdings plc ("Ultra").

Under the terms of the offer, Ultra would acquire Sparton in a transaction valued at approximately $235 million. Pursuant to the deal, Sparton stockholders will receive $23.50 per share in cash.
