Hecla Mining meldet vorläufige Produktionszahlen des Juniquartals

gab gestern die vorläufigen Ergebnisse der zum 30. Juni 2018 geendeten drei Monate bekannt. Die Minenproduktion hat die Erwartungen des Unternehmens nach Angaben des CEOs insgesamt übertroffen, da das aufbereitete Rohmaterial an mehreren Projekten höhere Metallgehalte aufwies. 

Gegenüber dem Vorjahresquartal verringerte sich der Silberausstoß von 2,81 Mio. oz auf 2,60 Mio. oz, während der Goldausstoß von rund 52.600 oz auf 60.300 oz gesteigert werden konnte. Darüber hinaus wurden ca. 5.500 t Blei und 14.300 t Zink gewonnen. Dies entspricht einer Gesamtproduktion von 10,5 Mio. oz Silberäquivalent oder 133.200 oz Goldäquivalent. 

Im ersten Halbjahr 2018 ergab sich damit ein Ausstoß von insgesamt 5,13 oz Silber, 118.100 oz Gold, 11.150 t Blei und 29.500 t Zink. 

Die Barmittel, Barmitteläquivalente und kurzfristigen Investitionen des Unternehmens erhöhten sich im Vergleich zum Vorjahr um 43 Mio. $ und beliefen sich zum 30. Juni 2018 auf rund 245 Mio. $.

"In the second quarter Hecla performed strongly, reflecting the investments we are making in our mines and exploration programs," said Phillips S. Baker, Jr., President and CEO. "The significant decline in our silver cash cost, after by-product credits per ounce, is a function of strong base metals prices and improved treatment charges. The decline in gold cash cost per ounce is due to higher throughput at Casa Berardi. Additionally, our exploration program continues to discover high-grade material at our operations as well as advance our exploration properties."

"We have now closed the acquisition of the high-grade Nevada mines, and are beginning their integration into Hecla," Mr. Baker added. "Our plan is to operate the mines and mill as one unit, allocating the workforce and capital to generate margins and focus on profitability, not just on production for production's sake. Fire Creek has the best margin of the 3 mines by a considerable amount, so ramping it up is our priority. We are also focused on the exceptional exploration opportunities in the 110 square mile land package. "

Hecla Mining: Finanzielle Ergebnisse des Juniquartals

Hecla Mining Corp. gab gestern die Finanzzahlen des zweiten Quartals 2018 bekannt, nachdem das Unternehmen Mitte Juli bereits die Produktionsergebnisse veröffentlicht hatte. 

Die Einnahmen aus dem Metallverkauf beliefen sich in den drei Monaten auf 147,3 Mio. $, verglichen mit 134,3 Mio. $ im Vorjahreszeitraum. Im gesamten ersten Halbjahr 2018 summierten sich die Einnahmen auf 287,0 Mio. $ und fielen damit ebenfalls etwas höher aus als 2017. 

Der operative Cashflow lag mit 30,6 Mio. $ deutlich über dem Wert des zweiten Quartals 2017, als er nur 7,5 Mio. $ erreichte. In der ersten Jahreshälfte betrug er insgesamt 47,0 Mio. $ und erhöhte sich im Vergleich zum Vorjahr nur unwesentlich. 

Die All-in Sustaining Costs nach Beiproduktgutschriften betrugen in den drei Monaten 11,40 $ je Unze Silber. 

Insgesamt ergab sich für das Unternehmen ein zurechenbarer Quartalsgewinn von 11,9 Mio. $ bzw. 0,03 $ je Aktie. Im ersten Halbjahr wurde ein Nettogewinn von 20,0 Mio. $ bzw. 0,05 $ je Aktie verzeichnet. 

Zum 30. Juni verfügte Hecla über Barmittel und Barmitteläquivalente in Höhe von 239,7 Mio. $.
