China Oil & Gas Dn; But Attractive Valuation-SBI
China Oil & Gas (0603.HK) down 3.9% at 99 HK cents, on profit-taking after +14.4% yesterday due to city natural gas framework deal signed by its 51%-owned JV CCNG with Guangzhou Development Department of Guangdong province.
SBI E2-Capital says stock now at attractive valuation, with 25.9X FY08 PER and 19.0X FY09 PER, vs sector's average of one-year forward PER of 35.2X and 26.5X.
Keeps on Strong Buy call, target price at HK$2.27. Volume relatively strong at HK$46.88 million, may regain above psychological HK$1.00 later.

China Oil & Gas (HKG:0603) unit buys 81% Taizhou Tongda

China Oil and Gas (HKG:0603) announced that its non-wholly-owned subsidiary, China City Natural Gas Co., Ltd (CCNG), has entered into an equity interest transfer agreement with Tongda Energy Private Limited (Tongda) pursuant to which CCNG agrees to purchase from Tongda 81% equity interest in Taizhou Tongda Natural Gas Company Limited (Taizhou Tongda) at a cash consideration of RMB37.066 million ($42.121 million).
The estimated total investment amount for the project in Taizhou Tongda shall be approximately RMB200 million ($227 million).
The transfer agreement was entered into in light of the fact that PetroChina (HKG:0857) has agreed, upon the acquisition of Taizhou Tongda by CCNG, to provide the natural gas supply with not more than 500 million cubic metres per year to Taizhou Tongda Project, which will commence in 2010.
Taizhou Tongda is principally engaged in the construction of natural gas pipelines and operation of natural gas supply projects in Taizhou area, the PRC. Taizhou Tongda is now in the process of constructing long natural gas pipelines of 90 kilometers between Sihang, Jiangyan and Dainan of the PRC, which has been approved by the Development and Reform Commission of Jiangsu Province.
Upon completion of the acquisition, Tongda shall have the right to dispose of its remaining 19% equity interest in Taizhou Tongda to CCNG at any time and CCNG shall be obliged to purchase such 19% equity interest from Tongda at a consideration of RMB8.695 million (approximately $9.88 million).

China Oil & Gas (HKG:0603) appoints chmn TL Xu as CEO

China Oil And Gas (HKG:0603) announced that with effect from 4 November 2009, Qu Guohua has resigned as CEO but remained an executive director; Xu Tieliang, the chairman and an executive director, was appointed as the CEO; and Wang Guangtian has been appointed as an independent non-executive director.
The company has also appointed Zhu Yuan, an experienced pipelined gas expert, appointed as a senior vice president.

China Oil and Gas (HKG:0603) announced that its non-wholly-owned subsidiary, China City Natural Gas Co., Ltd (CCNG), has entered into a framework agreement with the government of Pingdu City, Shandong Province pursuant to which CCNG is granted a franchise right to exclusively operate the business of providing natural gas to the industrial parks and surrounding areas of Pingdu City.
Pursuant to the framework agreement, the proposed investment amount of the project will be US$30 million ($234 million). CCNG will set up a wholly-owned subsidiary (the PRC Company) to commence the natural gas project. The proposed registered capital of the PRC Company will be US$15 million ($117 million) which will be solely borne by CCNG.

Die Aktie ist nach einer Schwächephase heute um 10% in HKG auf 0.88 HKD gestiegen ...
Analystenkommentare lassen ein Kursziel von 1.80 HKD erhoffen ...
Schau mer mal ... ich trau den "Analysten" nicht so ganz ...
Aber der Höchststand war in letzter Zeit 1.60 HKD, so dass 1.80 HKD nicht total unrealistisch erscheint ...
Was meint Ihr dazu ?
