(NYSE: DRII) announced that it is being acquired by affiliates of the private equity firm, Apollo Global Management, LLC (NYSE: APO) for $30.25 per share. According to Carl Stine, who is a partner at Wolf Popper LLP, "With ownership of 37%, it is not surprising that the management of Diamond, which will undoubtedly end up teaming up with Apollo, has decided to sell the company at a discount by taking advantage of the stock's recent temporary price decline."
