Effective January 1, 2016, the company redefined adjusted net income and adjusted EPS to exclude the after-tax effect of acquisition-related amortization expenses. Accordingly, results for the three months and twelve months ended December 31, 2015 were adjusted to conform to this presentation, and had the effect of increasing adjusted net income by $1.5 million and $6.6 million, respectively, and increasing adjusted EPS by $0.04 and $0.15, respectively.
