BETHESDA, Md., May 17, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Walker & Dunlop, Inc. (NYSE: WD) (the "Company") announced that it has hired Jamie Butler as managing director in its Capital Markets group. Based out of the Company's headquarters in Bethesda, Maryland, Mr. Butler is responsible for sourcing equity and debt for development projects and stabilized assets across all property types, with a focus in the Mid-Atlantic region. Throughout his career, Mr. Butler has arranged financing for commercial real estate transactions totaling over $10 billion.

Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Mr. Butler was senior vice president at CBRE in the firm's capital markets group, where he arranged equity, mezzanine debt, and senior debt through a wide range of capital sources. He was previously vice president in the Capital Markets group at Cushman & Wakefield (formerly Cassidy Turley). Mr. Butler has received numerous industry recognitions and consistently ranks among the top producers in the region by the Commercial Real Estate Brokerage Association.
