President of Walker & Dunlop, Howard W. Smith, commented, "Our partnerships with LIFT and Community Solutions strengthen each year, as our employees see their contributions effect tangible positive impacts on their communities. Our intention with these ongoing donations is to provide support to organizations focused on ending homelessness in America, a cause that is at the core of our Company culture."

LIFT is a national nonprofit dedicated to ending intergenerational poverty. With the help of Walker & Dunlop and its contributions from the previous year, LIFT was able to help families meet basic needs and achieve long-term goals, serving over three thousand members last year.

"Thanks to the generous employees of Walker & Dunlop, we can connect hardworking parents and caregivers of young children to the people, tools and resources they need," said LIFT CEO and Co-Founder Kirsten Lodal. "Last year, Walker & Dunlop's support directly helped more than 600 members access resources like groceries, transportation, childcare, and legal services, 208 members secure employment, and 100 more enroll in higher education and job training."

Community Solutions works toward a future without homelessness, in which poverty never follows families beyond a single generation. Community Solutions is currently leading "Built for Zero," a movement of 70 communities to end chronic and veteran homelessness. In under two years, those communities have already found permanent homes for more than 60,000 homeless Americans, including more than 30,000 veterans.

"Once again, Walker & Dunlop employees have shown unparalleled generosity, and we are so appreciative of their partnership and support," said Rosanne Haggerty, President of Community Solutions. "Over the past three years, Walker & Dunlop has become a vital member of the Community Solutions team. Today, the firm's employees are helping us end homelessness and the conditions that create it in more than 70 communities across the country. Walker & Dunlop represents corporate citizenship at its very best."

In addition to partnering with LIFT and Community Solutions, the Company supports various other non-profits focused on curbing homelessness, including Georgetown Ministry Center and So Others Might Eat. Walker & Dunlop also provides Company-paid volunteer hours, organizes office volunteer events, and maintains a robust charitable donation matching program.
