Virginia Commonwealth Bank Welcomes Del Ward as Senior Vice President, Commercial Banking

RICHMOND, Va., April 18, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Randal R. Greene, President and Chief Executive Officer of Bay Banks of Virginia, Inc. (OTCQB: BAYK), holding company of Virginia Commonwealth Bank (formerly Bank of Lancaster) and Bay Trust Company, announces that Virginia Commonwealth Bank has hired Del Ward as Senior Vice President, Commercial Banking. In this role, Mr. Ward's responsibility will be developing commercial banking relationships in the Richmond region by helping businesses achieve their financial aspirations.

Mr. Ward joins Virginia Commonwealth Bank with more than 29 years of banking experience specializing in both retail and commercial banking in the Richmond region. Mr. Ward most recently served as Senior Vice President in commercial banking with Village Bank after spending over nine years with First Capital Bank.
