ALCOA, Tenn., Nov. 29, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- U-Haul Company of Knoxville is offering 30 days of free self-storage and U-Box container usage to residents of Sevier County and surrounding areas who have been evacuated from their homes or need to move their possessions away from the outbreak of fires.

U-Haul is extending the offer to impacted individuals and families at all U-Haul-owned and -operated facilities in the area where there is self-storage availability.

"At this point, the wind is really helping spread this fire. Gatlinburg and Dollywood are evacuating. So far 14,000 people are out of their homes. We want them to know we're here to help."
