TT Electronics Receives FAA Part 145 Aviation Repair Station Certification

WOKING, England, Oct. 25, 2017

The term repair station refers to a maintenance facility that has a certificate issued by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) under Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR) Part 145 and is engaged in the maintenance, preventive maintenance, inspection, and alteration of aircraft and aircraft products. TT Electronics received a 'Limited Accessory' rating, allowing the company to place any accessory on its capability list that it determines it has capabilities for. The company is able to undertake self-evaluation, and add any other accessories to its capability list that it deems fit and it can apply for other ratings if the need arises.
