The Hanover Enters the Pennsylvania Personal Lines Insurance Market

WORCESTER, Mass., June 13, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The Hanover Insurance Group, Inc. (NYSE: THG) today announced it has expanded its business in Pennsylvania to include personal lines insurance and has appointed a group of the top independent agents in the Commonwealth to serve its growing customer base.
The company's innovative personal lines offering includes Hanover Platinum Protection, a package of insurance coverages designed to protect a broad customer base, from individuals with simple coverage needs to those with more complex coverage needs. The Hanover's launch in Pennsylvania supports the company's ongoing strategy to expand its footprint and offer its agent partners a full suite of insurance solutions for their clients.

A new point-of-sale system: A new, intuitive quote-and-issue platform for agents, helping to serve their customers faster and more efficiently.
The Hanover's experienced team: A team of nearly 30 knowledgeable sales, underwriting and claims professionals specially trained to handle agent and customer needs will be supporting the company's office in Conshohocken, PA. Jennifer M. Sellers has been appointed assistant regional vice president for the office, responsible for sales and distribution in the Commonwealth.
