SuperCom Wins National Electronic Monitoring Project in Major Western European Country

SuperCom (SPCB), a global provider of secure solutions for the e-Government, Public Safety, HealthCare, and Finance sectors, today announced that its M2M division has been selected by a major national European government to deploy its PureSecurity Electronic Monitoring Suite, a solution aimed at increasing public safety, reducing prison overcrowding and lowering recidivism by tracking and monitoring public offenders.

SuperCom expects this comprehensive nationwide program, encompassing all electronic monitoring of offender programs within the country, to begin by monitoring several hundreds of enrollees simultaneously, with significant potential for further growth. SuperCom will deploy its PureSecurity monitoring solution which will include home detention, GPS tracking and alcohol monitoring of offenders. The project was won through a formal competitive bid process with other established industry players. The project term is four years and SuperCom expects to complete the deployment and generate recurring revenues within 3 months of the contract signing.
