Saint John, New Brunswick--(Newsfile Corp. - January 3, 2017) - Stompy Bot Corporation (CSE: BOT) ('Stompy Bot' or the 'Corporation') announces that it intends to issue up to 5,000,000 units of the Corporation (the 'Units') at a price of $0.06 per Unit, for total gross proceeds of approximately $300,000 (the 'Private Placement'). Each Unit will be comprised of one common share (a 'Common Share') and one half of one Common Share purchase warrant (each whole warrant, a 'Warrant'). Each whole Warrant entitling the holder thereof to acquire a Common Share at a price of $0.10 per share for a period of eighteen (18) months from the date of issuance. All securities issued under the Private Placement are subject to a four month plus one day hold period from the date of issuance in accordance with applicable securities laws. In connection with the Private Placement, the Corporation is pleased to announce it has closed a first tranche through the issuance of 2,420,006 Units of the Corporation, for total gross proceeds of $145,200.
