Selective Insurance Group Announces Officer Appointments

BRANCHVILLE, N.J., Dec. 15, 2017

Matthew Caton to Vice President, Property Claims.  Mr. Caton joined Selective in 2015 as Assistant Vice President, Property Claims. Prior to that, he served as Associate Manager of Property Claims for North and South Carolina for Travelers Insurance. He earned his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Marshall University in West Virginia and holds the Associate in Claims and Associate in Insurance Services designations.

John Hsu to Assistant Vice President, Enterprise Risk Management. Mr. Hsu joined Selective in July 2017. Prior to that, he served as Chief Reserving Actuary at Hallmark Financial Services. Mr. Hsu earned his Master of Actuarial Science at Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia and his Bachelor of Business Administration at National Chung Hsing University in Taipei, Taiwan. He is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society.

Lisa Petza to Assistant Vice President, Personal Lines Marketing. Ms. Petza joined Selective in 2007 as a Senior Personal Lines Marketing Specialist. Prior to that, she served as a Senior Personal Lines Marketing Specialist at Zurich Insurance Company. Ms. Petza earned her bachelor's degree in Business Management at Stevenson University in Maryland and holds the Certified Insurance Counselor designation.
