Scripps to host Investor Day on Sept. 6

CINCINNATI, Aug. 4, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The E.W. Scripps Co. (NYSE: SSP) will host an Investor & Media Day presentation with incoming President and CEO Adam Symson and his leadership team on Wednesday, Sept. 6.
Speakers include Symson, who takes over Aug. 8, as well as Chief Financial Officer Tim Wesolowski, Senior Vice President of Broadcasting Brian Lawlor, Vice President of Digital Operations Laura Tomlin and Katz Broadcasting Founder, President and CEO Jonathan Katz.
Topics include management's view of the evolving consumer media landscape and the opportunity ahead for Scripps; growth in the local broadcast television business; measurements for success with next-generation national news network Newsy and podcast leader Midroll; and the promise of the recent acquisition of the Katz multicast networks.
The event, open to investors, analysts and members of the media, will be held at The Warwick New York Hotel, 65 W. 54th St., New York City. Doors will open at 8:30 a.m., and the program will run from 9-11 a.m.
