Ramco-Gershenson Properties Set to Join S&P SmallCap 600

NEW YORK, May 5, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Ramco-Gershenson Properties Trust (NYSE: RPT) will replace Headwaters Inc. (NYSE: HW) in the S&P SmallCap 600 effective prior to the open on Wednesday, May 10. Boral Limited is acquiring Headwaters in a deal expected to be completed soon, pending final conditions.
Ramco-Gershenson Properties Trust, a real estate investment trust (REIT), engages in the ownership, development, acquisition, management, and leasing of community shopping centers, single tenant retail properties, and one regional mall. Headquartered in Farmington Hills, MI, the company will be added to the S&P SmallCap 600 GICS (Global Industry Classification Standard) Retail REITs Sub-Industry index.
