Patrick H. Flannery Appointed To Board Of Southern Michigan Bancorp, Inc.

COLDWATER, Mich., Aug. 2, 2017

Flannery, a licensed CPA, is vice president for finance and treasurer at Hillsdale College. After receiving a bachelor of arts in accounting from Michigan State University, he worked in Boston, Massachusetts for PricewaterhouseCoopers in their audit department. He served in a similar capacity with Andrews, Hooper & Pavlik in Rochester Hills, Michigan. He later moved to Colorado to accept a position with Regis University, where he earned a master's degree in business administration with an emphasis in finance and accounting. In addition, he served as an adjunct professor at Regis University.

Flannery served on the Dacono City Council in Colorado from 2004-2007. He was elected to the Hillsdale City Council in the fall of 2013 and still serves in that capacity. He served as mayor pro tem for both cities.

Flannery resides in Hillsdale, Michigan with his wife, Emily, and their six children. He volunteers at his church where he is a captain for the Troops of St. George and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
