Management appointments in SEB

The following management appointments have been made and are effective as of 1 May and 15 May respectively:

Joachim Alpen has been named head of the division Large Corporates & Financial Institutions. Joachim Alpen has been a member of SEB's Group Executive Committee since 2014 and has since then held the position as co-head of division Large Corporates & Financial Institutions. Before that he was heading the Markets business area and was a member of the division's management team for a number of years. The appointment is effective as of 1 May 2017.

David Teare has been named head of the division Life & Investment Management as of 15 May 2017. David Teare has held the position as Chief Risk Officer (CRO) since 2016. He has been a member of the SEB's Group Executive Committee since 2011, when appointed head of the Baltic division. Before that he headed the Client Coverage organisation in the Merchant Banking division and was a member of the division's management team.

Magnus Agustsson, has been appointed new CRO and member of the Group Executive Committee as of 15 May 2017. He has since 2014 held the position as head of Group Risk, and before that head of Group Risk Centre, within the CRO function. He joined SEB in 2009 as Head of Risk Management within the Baltic division. Magnus Agustsson holds a Cand.scient. in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Science in Economics from University of Iceland.

Riho Unt, head of the Baltic Division since 2016, has as of 1 May 2017, been named ordinary member of the Group Executive Committee.

As of 15 May SEB's Group Executive Committee will include:

Riho Unt, head of division Baltic
