Mackenzie Investments announces Growth fund changes

TORONTO, July 5, 2016

Further to the announcement on June 21, Paul Musson, Senior Vice-President, Matt Moody, Vice-President and Portfolio Manager and Hussein Sunderji, Vice-President and Portfolio Manager, have become the lead portfolio managers of Mackenzie International Growth Fund and Mackenzie International Growth Class. Mackenzie Investments also announced changes to the investment strategies for these funds.  The new portfolio management team will follow a blended growth and value investment style, by seeking companies having the greatest prospects for long term growth.  Strong consideration is also placed on assessing the investment's intrinsic worth relative to its stock price.  The review process includes analysis of the company's competitive position, management strengths, expected profitability and financial position.

An amendment to the funds' simplified prospectus and fund facts will be filed in the coming days to provide full details of the team's investment style.

Mackenzie also announced that Paul Musson, Matt Moody and Hussein Sunderji have begun managing a portion of Mackenzie Private Canadian Focused Equity Pool and Mackenzie Private Global Equity Pool.
