Local Bankers Graduate From The Virginia Bankers School Of Bank Management

WARRENTON, Va., Aug. 7, 2012

Three employees from The Fauquier Bank were among the 62 Virginia bankers who graduated August 3, 2012 from the Virginia Bankers School of Bank Management at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville.  The TFB graduates included: Amanda Atwell, Officer - Branch Manager, Alex Hoffman, VP - IT Operations, and Jami Ladenburger, Officer - Accounting Manager.  The three-year school is sponsored by the Virginia Bankers Association in cooperation with the McIntire School of Commerce at the University.

Those receiving diplomas completed the Bank Management Course, which includes three one-week resident sessions with extensive programs between the first and second years and comprehensive third-year program.  Graduates broadened their knowledge in all respects of banking, economics, and related subjects.

Through the use of highly qualified instructors and a challenging curriculum, the Virginia Bankers School of Bank Management is designed to provide a multidimensional banking and educational experience.  By the time the three one-week summer sessions are completed, students will have developed a range of skills that should both enhance current performance and quality them as candidates for advancement.
