Leggett & Platt Announces Quarterly Dividend Of $.34

CARTHAGE, Mo., Aug. 4, 2016

• Third quarter dividend is $.34 per share, an increase of 6.3% versus 3Q 2015
• Indicated dividend yield is 2.6%
• Annual dividends have increased for 45 consecutive years at a 13% cagr

Leggett & Platt's Board of Directors announced a dividend of $.34 per share for the third quarter.  The dividend will be paid on October 14, 2016 to shareholders of record on September 15, 2016. 

At an annual indicated dividend of $1.36 per share, the stock's dividend yield is 2.6%, based upon yesterday's closing stock price of $51.63 per share.

A member of Standard & Poor's Dividend Aristocrats, Leggett & Platt has increased its annual dividend for 45 consecutive years at a compound annual growth rate of 13%, a record only one other S&P 500 company has matched.
