Hyperdynamics Announces Consortium's New Country Manager in Guinea and Donation to Help Fight Guinea's Ebola Outbreak

HOUSTON, July 10, 2014

The Consortium, through Tullow, is also donating $200,000 to the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) to support humanitarian relief efforts in Guinea as it fights the Ebola virus.  Tullow donated $100,000 and Dana Petroleum and Hyperdynamics subsidiary SCS each donated $50,000.

"Our hearts go out to the people of Guinea as they struggle to contain the spread of this devastating disease and to the doctors and other medical workers caring for the sick," said Ray Leonard, Hyperdynamics President and Chief Executive Officer.
