NEW YORK, April 24, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Harwood Feffer LLP (www.hfesq.com) is investigating potential claims against the board of directors of C. R. Bard, Inc. ("Bard" or the "Company") (NYSE: BCR) concerning the proposed acquisition of the Company by Becton, Dickinson and Company ("BD").
Under the terms of the offer, BD would acquire Bard in a transaction valued at approximately $24 billion. Pursuant to the terms of the transaction, shareholders of Bard will receive $222.93 in cash and 0.5077 shares of BD, a total value of approximately $312.79 per Bard share owned.
