Hailiang Education Congratulates International Program Graduates on Their Admission to Leading International Universities

HANGZHOU, China, Aug. 11, 2016
HANGZHOU, China, Aug. 11, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Hailiang Education Group Inc. (Nasdaq: HLG) ("Hailiang Education" or the "Company"), a provider of private K-12 educational services in China, today congratulated graduates of its international program on their admission to leading international universities.
As of June 30, 2016, total student enrollment in Hailiang's international program was 1,913, representing a 39.5% increase from the prior year. For the 2015-2016 academic year, 223 students graduated from the international program, with more than half receiving admission offers from leading international universities, as of August 11.
These universities include (ordered by region and ranking[1]), but not limited to:
- Top U.S. universities: University of Washington, The Ohio State University, and University of California campuses in Davis and Irvine
- Top U.K. universities: University College London, University of Manchester, University of Leeds, University of Birmingham, and University of Warwick
- Top Australian universities: University of Melbourne, University of Sydney, University of Queensland Australia, and University of New South Wales
