ORLANDO, Fla., Dec. 22, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Innovative education organization Global Personalized Academics (GPA) today announced recent milestones and successes related to the company's development during its initial 120-day history.

Historically, GPA has relied on passive customer growth with the majority of business generated in Pennsylvania. Starting in August, the GPA team has put in place an aggressive sales strategy that includes expansion of the team and territories. Twelve new sales professionals have joined GPA and are pursuing revenue opportunities in the lower 48 U.S. states, China, Central Europe, Mexico, Central America and parts of South America including Peru and Chile.

The team has already submitted active proposals representing up to $5.2 million in potential revenue. This includes nine state-level and nine international proposals submitted by GPA.

To support sales efforts in the region, GPA has formed a new Mexican subsidiary with plans to open an office in Mexico City.

In addition to the sales efforts, GPA is also investing in product improvements to meet the growing demands of students and teachers. The curriculum team is currently in the middle of a $2 million online course improvement project.

"The company's progress in the first 120 days is beyond my expectations and is a testament to the team we've built," stated Julie Young, GPA CEO. "We believe that building on this momentum and continuing to build partner relationships will allow us to deliver on the promise of personalized educational opportunities."
