MCLEAN, Va., Feb. 20, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Gladstone Investment Corporation (NASDAQ: GAIN) ("Gladstone Investment") announced today that on February 14, 2014, it acquired Head Country Inc. ("Head Country"). Gladstone Investment, together with certain members of the executive management team, provided the capital consisting of preferred and common equity, senior debt and a revolving credit facility. Head Country, founded in 1980, is headquartered in Ponca City, OK. Head Country is a manufacturer of a leading BBQ sauce brand with three BBQ sauce flavors currently as well as seasonings and marinades.
