PR Newswire

ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J., April 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Ferrari North America is taking the Ferrari Challenge Series to the iconic Circuit of Interlagos in Sao Paolo, Brazil, on April 12-14.

For the first time, the series will travel to Brazil, one of the most dynamic and growing business markets for Ferrari.  "Much like the unique history of Interlagos to both Scuderia Ferrari and motorsports overall, Brazil is a vibrant epicenter where demand for Ferrari is strong, and the opportunities for growth even stronger," says Marco Mattiacci, President and CEO, of the Americas. "We look forward to joining our clients and welcoming the fans of Ferrari at the circuit in Interlagos," Mattiacci concludes.

Adding to the weekend, the Ferrari Challenge will be joined by the Corse Clienti Department's 599XX "evolution", FXX and F1 Clienti bringing all these different series and drivers together to create a Brazilian edition of the Ferrari Racing Days.  Also making its debut in Brazil is the unveiling of the F12berlinetta, the latest addition to the Ferrari product line-up.

After Interlagos the Ferrari Challenge will travel to Sonoma Raceway in California on April 26-28.  Ferrari will engage its Silicon Valley friends and fans with exciting opportunities for fans to enjoy the Challenge Series firsthand.  For the latest developments, please follow Ferrari USA on twitter @FerrariUSA.

The Ferrari Challenge is one of the numerous "exclusive" experiences that Ferrari offers its customers -- whether owners are actually racing in the series, or spectating from the luxurious VIP hospitality Suites.  The race in Brazil is also an occasion to join once again partner with Net Element International, a global technology-driven group specializing in electronic commerce and mobile payments (NASDAQ: NETE).

About Corse Clienti
Through programs such as the Ferrari Challenge Series, Corse Clienti offers Ferrari's "racing clients" the ultimate opportunity to explore their passion for racing out on the track. As part of the non-competitive activity, there are two technological collaboration programs involving a select group of "owner-test drivers" who have acquired a Ferrari FXX or 599XX, produced exclusively for track use. The F1 Clienti program makes it possible for customers to acquire a Formula 1 car from Ferrari's racing history, and to be coached for instruction and demonstration.
