Rostelecom acquires Sibitex, an independent internet provider in Tyumen January 10, 2017, Moscow - Rostelecom PJSC (MOEX: RTKM, RTKMP; OTCQX: ROSYY), Russia's national telecommunications operator, today announces that it has completed the acquisition of 100% of Sibitex, one of two leading independent internet and telephone providers in Tyumen. It was bought by Bashinformsvyaz - a subsidiary of Rostelecom. Sibitex provides access to internet, telephone and TV services for legal entities and individuals but historically has specialised in providing services to corporate clients. Currently Sibitex has around 7500 users; of these around 800 are corporate clients.
