EPGL Accelerates Smart Contact Lens Program With New Agreement And Partners

IRVINE, Calif., April 21, 2016

The coming market for virtual reality and electronically augmented vision is estimated to be in excess of $150 billion dollars and according to top technology and medical industry experts, it has potential to rival the smart-phone market in the future.  Companies such as Google, Facebook and Microsoft are all attempting to enter the field of electronic eyewear and goggles.  Enhanced and augmented vision via non-invasive, safe contact lens application, promises to be one of the most revolutionary new scientific advancements in years and this is where EPGL technology is positioned.

EPGL has developed technology in this space with world-class partners at world-class manufacturing facilities and we have proven our electronics circuitry platform to successfully integrate within real silicone hydrogel contact lenses without major changes to the manufacturing process and without distortion to the lenses.  In fact, we're the only company in the field thus far, to publish actual photography of the tested and proven circuitry.   Not even Google has accomplished this as yet.  In addition, EPGL has several patents now pending in the field and we believe we have the superior technology designs for autofocus contact lenses.

Recently, EPGL has had new and larger entities seeking to secure exclusive rights to our technology and in April of 2016, we executed a new Agreement with a truly magnificent world-class company.

As a result, EPGL is now accelerating its program and bringing in new partners and investors to see our technology become what we believe it can be in the marketplace.

Today, we are announcing that we will send a summary of our proprietary plan along with information about who has secured rights to our technology to any bonafide investor or partners who are interested in learning more.  To receive the plan summary, those interested must request and execute our NDA available for download starting on April 28, 2016. 

We are giving public notice fully 30 days in advance so that as many shareholders and investors as possible, will have the opportunity to request and receive the information.  Then, on May 31, 2016 all who have executed the NDA will be sent the information on that day after market hours. From May 31, 2016 and beyond, others will also be accommodated upon request.
