Dycom Industries to Join S&P MidCap 400; Patrick Industries to Join S&P SmallCap 600

NEW YORK, Aug. 16, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- S&P SmallCap 600 constituent Dycom Industries Inc. (NYSE: DY) will replace FirstMerit Corp. (NASD: FMER) in the S&P MidCap 400, and Patrick Industries Inc. (NASD: PATK) will replace Dycom Industries in the S&P SmallCap 600 after the close of trading on Thursday, August 18. S&P 500 constituent Huntington Bancshares Inc. (NASD: HBAN) acquired FirstMerit in a deal completed today.
Dycom Industries provides specialty contracting services. Headquartered in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, the company will be added to the S&P MidCap 400 GICS (Global Industry Classification Standard) Construction & Engineering Sub-Industry index.
Patrick Industries manufactures and distributes building products and materials for the recreational vehicle, manufactured housing, and industrial markets. Headquartered in Elkhart, IN, the company will be added to the S&P SmallCap 600 GICS Building Products Sub-Industry index.
