Digital Transformation the Focus of 2016 ISG Sourcing Industry Conference

STAMFORD, Conn., Sept. 14, 2016

"Go Digital: Engage, Connect, Deliver," is the theme this year for the sourcing industry's premier event, which will take place September 26-27 at the Westin Stonebriar in Frisco, Texas, just outside Dallas. Designed specifically for service providers, software and technology companies, cloud providers, and others looking to benefit from ISG's market research and industry insights, SIC 2016 allows participants to learn firsthand about today's most pressing customer concerns and how digital technologies are changing the sourcing industry landscape.

This year's speakers include Craig Maccubbin, vice president and chief technology officer of Southwest Airlines, who will deliver the opening keynote address on Tuesday, September 27. Maccubbin will share his experience overseeing an aggressive digital transformation program at Southwest Airlines.

The industry is growing increasingly fragmented and price-sensitive, and only those providers able to rapidly change their business models, partner with their customers on technological innovation, and offer software and infrastructure on demand will survive over the longer term."

The presentations, panel discussions and workshops at SIC 2016 are designed to help service providers "navigate these tectonic shifts and plot a course for future success," Lavieri said.
