DICK'S Sporting Goods Announces Grand Opening Celebration in New Philadelphia, OH

PITTSBURGH, Oct. 10, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- DICK'S Sporting Goods (NYSE: DKS), the largest U.S.-based, full-line omni-channel sporting goods retailer, will be opening its 40th store in Ohio and 674th store nationwide on Friday, October 28 at New Towne Mall in New Philadelphia, OH (400 Mill Avenue SE).
DICK'S three-day Grand Opening celebration will run through Sunday, October 30. The store will open at 8:00 a.m. Friday and Saturday and 9:00 a.m. Sunday.
On Friday, the first 100 people in line will receive a free adidas Go-To Performance T-Shirt. Adults who are in line at 7:45 a.m. on Friday will get a chance to open the DICK'S Sporting Goods Gift Locker. ‡‡
Former running back Archie Griffin** will make an in-store appearance from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
Saturday and Sunday giveaways include a free Mystery Gift Card for the first 100 adults in line. Adults who are in line at 7:45 a.m. on Saturday and 8:45 a.m. on Sunday will also get a chance to open the DICK'S Sporting Goods Gift Locker. ‡‡
