Diamond Hill Announces Addition Of Austin Hawley As Co-Portfolio Manager On Large Cap Strategy

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Dec. 18, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Effective Dec. 31, 2017, Austin Hawley will join Chuck Bath as portfolio manager of the Diamond Hill Large Cap strategy. Mr. Hawley has served as assistant portfolio manager for the Large Cap strategy since February 2015. Mr. Bath will continue to serve as portfolio manager with Mr. Hawley. Chris Welch will continue to serve as assistant portfolio manager.

Chuck Bath, CFA (age 62) serves as Managing Director – Investments and Portfolio Manager for Diamond Hill's Large Cap and Large Cap Concentrated strategies. He joined Diamond Hill in 2002 and has 35 years of investment industry experience. Mr. Bath has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Miami University and a Master of Business Administration from The Ohio State University.

Austin Hawley, CFA (age 40) serves as Co-Chief Investment Officer and Portfolio Manager for Diamond Hill's All Cap Select, Financial Long-Short and Large Cap Concentrated strategies. He joined Diamond Hill in 2008 and has 18 years of investment industry experience. Mr. Hawley has a Bachelor of Arts in History (cum laude) and a Master of Business Administration (with distinction) from Dartmouth College.

Chris Welch, CFA (age 52) serves as Co-Chief Investment Officer and Portfolio Manager for Diamond Hill's Small-Mid Cap and Mid Cap strategies. He joined Diamond Hill in 2005 and has 22 years of investment experience. Mr. Welch has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Yale University (summa cum laude).
