CNH Industrial welcomes U.S. Congressman Dave Loebsack to Burlington plant

BURR RIDGE, Ill., Sept. 22, 2017

Congressman Loebsack's visit began with an Executive Roundtable with Burlington's plant manager Eric Tharp and leaders from the CASE manufacturing and product teams. Loebsack was presented with an overview of the plant and its operations during the roundtable discussion, which was followed by a plant tour.

"It was a pleasure to host Congressman Loebsack and show him the work we do at this CASE facility in his district," said Eric Tharp, Burlington plant manager.

CASE brand has had operations in Burlington since 1937, celebrating 80 years in Burlington this year. The year 2017 also marked the 175^th anniversary of Case IH and Case Construction Equipment. With workforce of nearly 600 employees the Burlington facility manufacturers backhoes, tractor loaders, forklifts, dozers and components for the Case IH and New Holland Agriculture brands. The plant was expanded in 2015 after a $24 million dollar investment to facilitate production of a new dozer line, welding and computer numerical (CNC) machining equipment, and an assembly line.
