Basware Cited as a Leader in eProcurement by Independent Research Firm

Basware has been recognized as a Leader in "The Forrester Wave™: eProcurement, Q2 2017" report by Forrester Research Inc., as result of a comprehensive evaluation of Procure-to-Pay platforms.

According to the Forrester report, Basware excels in invoice automation for global organizations. The report cited Basware's focus on automating processes and minimizing manual approvals is an important differentiator in contrast to many of its competitors who still emphasize outdated multi-step, manual approval chains. Basware is a particularly strong fit for enterprises that want to automate processing of high invoice volumes, particularly where three-way matching will not work for a significant portion of these.

The Forrester report stated also that Basware has the broadest functionality to manage different spend categories and invoice capture methods. Basware has been very successful selling to European multinationals, and its 2016 acquisition of Verian has now brought it increased scale in North America.

Forrester identified and evaluated the 12 most significant providers through a combination of questionnaires, product demonstrations and discussions with client references for the report. The vendors were then scored against a comprehensive set of 30 evaluation criteria, including current offering, strategy and market presence.
