Baristas Files in New York Franchise Documents to become registered

SEATTLE, April 2, 2013

This filing is subsequent to the filing to become registered in Baristas home state Washington and California  and once approved will not only allow the Company to sell franchises in New York but will open up the ability to become approved in other states that require registration as well. This is the result of Baristas launching a major expansion push through its Franchising division. As of this date all operating locations are company owned.

Newly appointed Director of Store and Brand Development Mike Reynolds stated;  "New York is among the most stringent and most expensive states to become registered in to sell franchises. Now that we have completed the filing in New York as well as our home state Washington and California, the process for filing in many other states has been streamlined and will accelerate our adding additional states. The filing in a variety of states will allow us to fully utilize marketing venues that target a wide geographical audience. Baristas offers a very compelling business model and provides the best opportunity in franchising that I have seen in my career and is clearly the best in its sector."
