All Star notes that NQ Minerals Plc (“NQ”), a company in which All Star has a 3.9% shareholding, released two announcements of note on Monday 19 September.
In the first release, NQ announced that all resolutions were duly passed at its General Meeting held earlier in the day. In the second release, NQ announced that it had signed an agreement with White Fox Ventures to raise US$2.35m over the next six months at 8.4p per share. This follows the US$150,000 that was raised on 25 August and will bring the total investment by White Fox Ventures to US$2.5m.
The board of All Star is of the opinion that these releases, together with the recent board appointments, demonstrates NQ is advancing forward with its strategy. The board of All Star continues to monitor the corporate developments of NQ with interest over the coming months.
