Talvivaara's 2013 financial results to be published on 30 April 2014

Talvivaara Mining Company Plc ("Talvivaara") will publish its Financial Statements Release, Annual Report, the Financial Statements and the Board of Directors' review for the financial period from 1 January 2013 to 31 December 2013 on Wednesday 30 April 2014 at approximately 7.00 am UK time / 9.00 am Finnish time.

A combined live webcast and conference call on the financial results will be held on 30 April 2014 starting at 9.00 am UK time / 11.00 am Finnish time. The presentation will be held in English.

Talvivaara's Annual General Meeting has been deferred and is provisionally scheduled for Thursday 12 June 2014.

Talvivaara Mining Company is an internationally significant base metals producer with its primary focus on nickel and zinc using a technology known as bioheapleaching to extract metals out of ore. Bioheapleaching makes extraction of metals from low grade ore economically viable. The Talvivaara deposits comprise one of the largest known sulphide nickel resources in Europe. Talvivaara has secured a 10-year off-take agreement for 100 per cent of its main output of nickel and cobalt to Norilsk Nickel and entered into a long-term zinc streaming agreement with Nyrstar NV.
