Bright, Environmentally Friendly Atmosphere
The new club features a shopper-friendly interior layout that measures approximately 136,000 square feet. That's big enough to fit two Aiken High School football fields inside, with enough products to have a celebration for the whole school.

As an innovative steward of the communities they serve, Sam's Club utilizes a variety of environmentally-friendly materials and energy-efficient fixtures, including several daylight-harvesting skylights that reduce the amount of energy required to light the store by up to 75 percent daily. LED lighting throughout the club, including in the cooler and freezer box doors and jewelry counter, operates 70 percent more efficiently than traditional fluorescent lighting.

Hearing, Optical Centers Among Amenities
The new club will include a Sam's Club Hearing Aid Center, offering premium technology in hearing aid and personal listening devices alongside the care of a certified audiologist, in addition to an Optical Center.

Other health and wellness benefits include the Sam's Club pharmacy, open to members and the public, featuring $4 and $10 on many generic prescriptions and extraordinary savings on branded prescriptions. Sam's Club will host free health screenings as a part of the Grand Opening, and will also host free monthly health screenings to help members take charge of their health through preventative measures.

Quality Products, Expansive Selections
Busy families can rely on fresh produce, quality meats and home meal solutions, while office supplies, vending machine snacks and paper goods prepare small business members for success. Sam's Club to Support Aiken, Local Charities
Sam's Club has a longstanding commitment to give back to the communities it serves, and in that giving spirit, associates at the new Sam's Club location selected several local organizations to receive a combined total of $30,000 in grants from the Sam's Club Giving Program. Grants being presented during the grand opening ceremony include: USC-Aiken Veterans Program, the Aiken Sheriff's Office, Aiken Technical College, the Child Advocacy Center of Aiken County, The Cumbee Center to Support Abused Persons, Helping Hands Aiken, the Tri-Development Center of Aiken County, the Savannah River Cancer Foundation, the Aiken Boys and Girls Club, and the Aiken Mid-Day Lion's Club. In addition to these grants, Sam's Club is also supporting the community through its $35,000 donation to the Greater Aiken Integrated Trails Foundation to fund the Langley Pond Loop. This trail will provide the opportunity for the community to bike, jog, hike and walk while enjoying all nature has to offer.
