SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 14, 2000--Upgrade International Corp. (OTCBB:UPGD - news) is pleased to announce that it has filed the application necessary to list its shares on the Nasdaq Small Cap Market.
Mr. Daniel Bland, President of Upgrade International Corp. states that ``having recently received reporting issuer status with the SEC, the Company believes that it has now achieved the listing requirements necessary for Nasdaq Small Cap qualification. This is a very positive step for Upgrade and its shareholders.''
Upgrade International Corp. (OTCBB:UPGD - news), through its ownership interest in UltraCard Inc., is engaged in the development and commercialization of a patented, data storage technology. UltraCard incorporates conventional hard drive storage technology into a standard credit card form factor, which operates in conjunction with a read write device and operating software. In addition Upgrade has acquired and developed operations developing application software and systems for specific applications of the UltraCard technology.
