Google signs patent agreement with Tencent

Search engine giant Google and Chinese tech multinational Tencent penned a deal on patent cross-licensing, Tech Chrunch reported on Friday. The team-up is reportedly to cover a broad range of technologies and products and stated to be "long-terrm." Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

"We’re pleased to enter into a patent cross-license with Tencent. By working together on agreements such as this, tech companies can focus on building better products and services for their users," Head of Patents at Google Mike Lee stated.

It was reported earlier in the week that Google opened a third office in China, opening a space in the tech metropolis Shenzhen. A month ago, the search engine giant launched an AI center in Shanghai, first of its kind in Asia, during Google Developer Days. Google's search engine has been blocked in China since 2010.

Nevertheless, Bank of America Merrill Lynch said the development of game and contents, advertising and payment of TENCENT will entail much more money-making chances in future but require continuous input of resources. The group's revenue will become the driver of its P&L. Bank of America Merrill Lynch raised revenue forecast for 2018-19 by 6% and 10% but kept profit estimates unchanged. The target price was revised up to $525 from $447 with rating reiterated at Buy.

... was meint Ihr kann man Tencent zum aktuellen Kurs nochmal kaufen?
Bin Aktuell mit Durchschnittskurs von 40,30 investiert würd aber meine Position gerne noch um das Doppelte erhöhen.

und spekulierst, das man nochmal die 41 sieht oder kaufst nun nach. Ich glaube, die Zahlen werden wieder über den Erwartungen liegen.  

Vielleicht hätte ich noch etwas warten sollen. Allerdings habe ich sie gekauft, um sie langfristig zu halten.

Für mich ist Tencent nicht mehr das unterbewertete Unternehmen, als das ich es mal gesehen habe. Das KGV reflektiert das Wachstumspotential und nun hat Tencent eine gewisse Bringschuld - es muss beweisen, dass es schnell genug für dieses KGV wächst und wachsen wird.

Daher hat die Aktie auf jeden Fall Rückschlagpotential, falls Erwartungen an die Ergebnisse und vor allem an die Guidance verfehlt werden.

Langfristig denke ich, dass die Aktie einen guten Schnitt machen wird - aber nicht wie in Vergangenheit, sondern moderater. Bei langfristigen 10 % Rendite pro Jahr wäre ich bereits zufrieden.  

Genausowenig wie Amazon jemals unterbewertet war.
Wovon man aber ausgehen kann, ist langfristig stetiges Wachstum.

Unterbewertung ergibt sich dadurch, dass die Summe der diskontierten Cashflows über dem Börsenkurs liegt.

Dass Wachstumswerte hohe KGV aufweisen, ist natürlich der Fall. Unterbewertet können sie dennoch sein - eben durch das Wachstum.
