Syrah Resources Announces Exceptional First Drill Interception
Syrah Resources announced that the initial diamond drill hole at the Balama Graphite Deposit has intercepted 287.5m of graphite mineralisation. The initial 8m was graphite bearing soil and laterite. The remaining 279.5m comprised graphitic schists. The hole ended in mineralisation. Based on visual inspection of the core, the graphite content appears to be similar to that encountered in trench T5 which averaged 12.7% total graphitic carbon. The Company reported the maiden JORC resource is anticipated during 2012 calendar year.
