Rambus (RMBS: news, msgs) is flying 20 3/8, or 36 percent in pre-market trading. The company said late Thursday that it had signed a new patent license agreement with Japan’s Toshiba, covering fundamental aspects of high-speed memory interfaces invented by Rambus. The agreement calls for Rambus to receive royalty payments and a license fee for the entire agreement.
