GAS SHOWS ENCOUNTERED FROM THE CAYIRLIK-1 WELL THRACE BASIN, TURKEY

Azure  Resources Corp.'s drilling of the seismically identified Cayirlik-1  well in the Thrace basin in Turkey reached the planned total depth of  800 metres on Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013. The well is now being conditioned  for wire-line logging by Schlumberger starting on Friday, Feb. 1, 2013,  following which the well will be cased.

Two gas show intervals  were encountered in Osmancik sands between 447 metres to 460 metres and  540 metres to 565 metres with good gas saturation. Upon evaluation of  the Schlumberger log data, flow testing of the well will be scheduled.  The flow test results will be released upon availability. The well is  approximately three kilometres from a gas pipeline tie-in point.

The  Catalca licence covers 36,429 hectares and is situated 30 kilometres  west of Istanbul. The company has the right to a 45-per-cent working  interest in the Catalca licence and 50 per cent of the company's  interest is subject to an earn-in agreement with Emperor Oil Ltd.

Azure Resources Corporation (die "Gesellschaft") berichtet, dass die Bohrungen der seismisch identifizierten Cayirlik-1 nun, Thrakien-Becken, Türkei, die geplante Gesamttiefe von 800 m. heute Donnerstag, 31. Januar 2013 erreicht. Der Brunnen ist jetzt Belieben für Wireline-Protokollierung von Schlumberger auf Freitag, 1. Februar 2013 starten nach dem Brunnen Schreibweise verwendet werden wird.

Zwei Gas-Karte-Intervalle wurden in Osmancik Sands zwischen 447 m gefunden. bis 460 m. und 540 m. An
565 m. mit gut Gas Sättigung. Bei der Bewertung des Datenflusses Schlumberger Protokoll werden Tests des Brunnens geplant. Die Fluss-Testergebnisse werden nach Verfügbarkeit freigegeben. Der Brunnen ist ca. 3
Kilometer von einer Gas-pipeline tie-in-Punkt.
Catalca Lizenz ist 36.429 ha groß und liegt 30 km westlich von Istanbul. Das Unternehmen hat das Recht, einen 45 % arbeiten an der Catalca Lizenz und 50 % des Unternehmens Interesse unterliegt eine Earn-in-Vereinbarung mit Kaiser Oil Ltd.

Calgary, AB., February 1, 2013 – Emperor Oil Ltd. (TSX.V: EM) (“Emperor” or the
“Company”) is pleased to announce the following exploration update from the Company’s
partners Azure Resources Corporation, (“Azure”) and Merty Enerji Petrol Arama,(“Merty”), on
the Catalca Natural Gas Licence (the “Catalca License”) in Turkey’s Thrace Basin. Azure reports
that the drilling of the seismically identified Cayirlik-1 Well, Thrace Basin, Turkey, reached the
planned total depth of 800 m. and two gas show intervals, with good gas saturation, were
encountered in Osmancik sands between 447m. to 460m. and 540m. to 565m.
The well is currently being conditioned for wireline logging by Schlumberger; following which
the well will be cased. Flow testing of the well will be scheduled upon evaluation of the log data.
The flow test results will be released when available.
The well is primarily targeting natural gas in the Tertiary Osmancik Formation, which is
approximately 3 km from a tie-in point to national pipeline infrastructure. The Catalca Licence
covers 36,429 hectares and is situated 30 km west of Istanbul in the European part of Turkey,
where natural gas is currently priced at a premium to North American markets. The Thrace Basin
is the most prolific gas producing basin in Turkey with more than 15 gas fields and 3 oilfields.
70 % of this basin remains unexplored.
Emperor has an earn‐in agreement to obtain a 22.5 % working interest in the license from Azure a
Canadian TSX.V listed Oil & Gas exploration and development company . Merty, an established Turkish
company in the domestic oil and gas industry, is the local operator.

Bin der Meinung, wenn es eine Bomben-News ist, dann sollte das Teil auch gleich springen und nicht Wochen später erst bewegen. Sonst ist es wohl eine schöne Sache, aber am Ende war es dann kein schnell steigeneder Kurs wert. Für alle Beteiligen hoffe ich natürlich das Beste. ;)

(7 meters) from the Cayirlik-1 Well, Thrace Basin, Turkey, which interval will now be scheduled for flow testing. The flow test results will be released upon availability. The well is approximately 3 km. from a gas pipeline tie-in-point. Pricing of natural gas in Turkey is at a substantial premium to North American price levels at US $8 - $10 per mcf.
The Catalca Licence covers 36,429 hectares and is situated 30 km. west of Istanbul. The Company has the right to a 45% working interest in the Catalca Licence and 50% of the Company’s interest is subject to an earn-in agreement with Emperor Oil Ltd.
